They didn’t ask as to why do people including the government treat and reacts differently for Cricket and other sports? They very well know that Cricket is Craze in India, a religion. And government only reflects popular belief.

I think it is a very brave and bold decision. It might not change the way Govt works but it has surely it will make a very good impression of Hockey Players peoples mind.
Actually there is no need to change the Govt functioning. If somebody can change the popular belief then Govt will automatically give these players their due.
